The classes are designed to introduce students to the basics of cartooning. Students will learn the following:

• creating cartoon heads using different head shapes, features & dimensions
• give your cartoons different emotions and perspective
• introduction to gestures and body movements, different body types
• how to draw hands and feet
• how to create a gag
• how to draw dogs and cats and other animals
• introduction to caricature drawing, skull, masses, & planes of the head
• structure of eyes, nose and mouth
• how to look at faces when drawing caricatures

Susan Moreno a professional caricature/cartoon artist for over 15 years working in the Atlanta area, has a BFA in drawing & painting from the Atlanta College of Art. She is a member of The National Caricaturist Network and has entertained with caricature drawings at events for companies such as Coca Cola, AT&T, Georgia Power, Kroger, and the University of GA, just to name a few. Susan's Experience and training is extensive and she is eager to share her expertise with others.

Class has limited seating (min 6, max 12), and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis Please note that no student's space will be held without full payment of class fee.

STUDENT AGE REQUIREMENTS: 12 years old to adult

REFUND POLICY: NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE AFTER THE FIRST CLASS MEETING.
To withdraw from the class, students must notify Susan Moreno TWO BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS MEETING to receive a full refund.

CANCELLATIONS: Instructor reserves the right to reschedule a class if necessary.

ABSENTEE POLICY: Instructor is not responsible for classes missed due to student absence
